Ahhh, Valentine’s Day. I was never a big fan of Valentine’s Day. My husband is in the restaurant business, so we usually celebrate before or after (even though he is SO sweet about flowers and cards!).
Until my son. Oooooh, how I love it now!
The weekend was spent filling out cards for his classmates and sticking in lollipops. Giving each other lots of kisses and I woke up to a very loud “Happy Valentine’s Day, Mommy!” as he swung open the door to my room. I’m so happy and blessed to have him and he makes every day Valentine’s Day for me.
I’m sure this new mom and dad feel the same way. Their little one is named Eloise (um, wow, I LOVE that name!!) and she is almost three months old. Her room is so sweet! (and, ahem, quite appropriate for today, don’t you think?)
and speaking of all things lovey dovey… nope, this wasn’t posed. Just getting dressed for a new outfit! I love those real smiles.
There is something about a tie that is so Daddy-ish, don’t you think?
Eloise was a little big for a classic newborn session, but we made it work. ;)
Thank you Eloise for being such a sweet girl! I hope you had a wonderful first Valentine’s Day!!! xoxo
